Research interests
 
My research interest focuses on understanding the relationship between freshwater fish diversity and ecosystem functioning. Specifically, I aim at linking freshwater biodiversity with food web structure and ecosystem functioning to quantify how the alteration of biodiversity caused by biological invasions can affect the structure of food webs and create cascading effects that can subsequently impact ecosystem functioning. The main research methodology I use are field monitoring, stable isotope analyses and functional diversity metrics.
